Chief Executive Officer, Evolution Academy

Cynthia A. Trigg is the Chief Executive Officer of Evolution Academy Charter School, a Texas-based dropout recovery network serving at-risk youth through innovative, flexible, college- and career-ready programs. With more than 34 years of experience as an educator, administrator, and educational consultant, she is a visionary leader and passionate advocate for educational access, dedicated to ensuring that students who are often overlooked have access to high-quality instruction, workforce readiness training, and comprehensive wraparound support.

Prior to founding Evolution Academy, she served in small, medium, and large independent school districts, as well as at Region IV Education Service Center, gaining extensive experience in instructional leadership, program development, and educational systems improvement.

Under her leadership, Evolution Academy has consistently earned strong accountability ratings and expanded opportunities for students to graduate with high school diplomas, industry-based certifications, and postsecondary dual-credit pathways.

Among her many accomplishments in the field of education, Cynthia is most proud of her role as a wife and mother.
