The Texas Public Charter Schools Association is now accepting presentation proposals for the 2026 conference. TPCSA seeks engaging presenters and sessions that focus on best practices in education and engage attendees in dialogue about cutting-edge trends, issues, and educational solutions.
This is YOUR chance to share and discuss best practices, innovation, leadership strategies, and Texas’ focus on student academic achievement. The individual submitting the abstract is responsible for the following:
Call for presentations deadline: April 4, 2026 Proposers notified of status/acceptance: May 15, 2026 Deadline for accepted presenters to confirm acceptance:May 29, 2026 Deadline to register and receive the speaker rate: August 7, 2026 Deadline for accepted presenters to upload headshots, bios, and presentations: September 4, 2026 Texas Public Charter Schools Conference: September 28-30, 2026
Submission Categories (with examples in parentheses)
Charter Law (advocacy, board governance, amendments/renewals, School Performance Framework, human resources, special populations, student/parent rights, student enrollment)
Accountability of Public Funds (School finance topics, annual financial compliance report, Charter FIRST, PEIMS, facilities & growth, fundraising and development)
Accountability to the Public (open meetings, record retention, public information, accountability data systems, transparency accountability)
School Safety (security, safety plan and audit requirements, nursing and health services, cybersecurity, health screenings)
A proposal must have a short, specific presentation title (containing no abbreviations) that indicates the nature of the presentation. Titles can be no longer than 50 characters, including spaces, to accommodate digital signs for session rooms.
Objectives should be clear, specific, and results-oriented. Identify clearly and specifically what you want participants to learn, know, or be able to do by the end of the training. For a conference session, we recommend a maximum of three objectives covering up to three areas that charter operators should know about your area of expertise.
