Ikeida Manning

Director of Finance and Human Resources at Essence Preparatory Public School

Ikeida Manning is currently the Director of Finance and Human Resources at Essence Preparatory Public School in San Antonio, Texas. In her role, Ikeida supports the campus through the business office in various capacities as it navigates the new waters as a Generation 26 charter school.

Before moving into her current role, Ikeida served as a literacy coach and classroom teacher for several years teaching lower elementary levels. Her passion for learning allowed her to earn degrees from University of Texas at San Antonio (B.A. Interdisciplinary Studies), Ashford University (MBA- Human Resource Management) and Concordia University-Portland (M. Ed- Curriculum & Development). Ikeida maintains her teaching certification as well as a Principal Certification from Schreiner University.

Ikeida loves reading, cruising, and catching sporting events with her husband, Jarvis and boys Noah and Jaxson.
