Dr. Dana Jobe

Superintendent, Universal Academy
Dr. Dana Jobe is a seasoned educator with over 30 years of service in education. Dr. Jobe earned a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas and multiple advanced degrees from Texas A&M University–Commerce, including an M.Ed., an M.S. in Reading, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with specializations in Reading, Early Childhood, and Urban Studies. She continued her professional studies at Harvard University and has presented at international conferences including the Oxford Roundtable in England and the World Reading Conference in Belgium.
Dr. Jobe serves as very proud Superintendent of Universal Academy, a Texas Education Agency (TEA) A-Rated public charter school with campuses in Irving, Coppell, and Bartonville, Texas. She began her career at Universal Academy more than 25 years ago as a kindergarten teacher.
Dr. Jobe is driven by the belief that all students have a right to an excellent public education, and her work continues to make a lasting impact on students, educators, and communities.
